Dunav Insurance Company a.d.o. was the first to organize the roadside assistance insurance in Serbia, in cooperation with Coris Assistance – prestigious international assistance company.

We provide a 24/7 assistance during the entire year, in Serbia and Europe, including the entire territory of Turkey, as well as the reimbursement of costs in case the insured vehicle is not roadworthy or safe to drive.

Under this coverage, the following costs are reimbursed: 

  • roadside assistance organization
  • vehicle repair in case of a minor breakdown
  • towing – transport of severely damaged vehicle
  • transport of a driver and passengers to the place of residence, i.e. destination
  • accommodation for a driver and passengers
  • safekeeping of a vehicle
  • rental of a replacement vehicle
  • re-delivery of stolen or missing vehicle keys
  • vehicle transport in case of a driver’s illness or death
  • organized return of children following an injury, illness or death of a driver

Costs

Costs of vehicle repair in case of a minor breakdown

are reimbursed in case the vehicle repair following a flat tyre or minor mechanical, electrical or electronic breakdowns can be performed on the spot, within 60 minutes.

The costs of a minor breakdown are reimbursed up to the agreed package limit:

  • Bonus – up to EUR* 30 in Serbia and/or EUR* 70 in Europe
  • Bonus Plus – up to EUR* 40 in Serbia and/or EUR* 90 in Europe
  • VIP – up to EUR* 50 in Serbia and/or EUR* 120 in Europe

Costs of towing

are reimbursed in case the insured vehicle is towed to the nearest repair shop where its roadworthiness can be restored or to the place of residence or seat of the Insured, if so required by the Insured.

Reimbursement of costs of towing – transport of the vehicle are reimbursed up to the agreed package limit:

  • Bonus – up to EUR* 50 in Serbia and/or EUR* 140 in Europe
  • Bonus Plus – up to EUR* 70 in Serbia and/or EUR* 180 in Europe
  • VIP – up to EUR* 90 in Serbia and/or EUR* 220 in Europe

Transport of a driver and passengers

to the place of residence or destination and/or to the place of repair of the insured vehicle are reimbursed in case the insured vehicle cannot be repaired on the spot of the occurrence or in case the vehicle has been stolen.

The costs of towing/transport of the vehicle are reimbursed up to the agreed package limit:

  • Bonus – up to EUR* 10 in Serbia per person and/or EUR* 30 in Europe per person
  • Bonus Plus – up to EUR* 15 in Serbia per person and/or EUR* 40 in Europe per person
  • VIP – up to EUR* 20 in Serbia per person and/or EUR* 50 in Europe per person

Costs of accommodation for a driver and passengers

are reimbursed in case the insured vehicle is not roadworthy and cannot be made roadworthy in the same day. The Insurer reimburses the costs up to the limit for the agreed package:

  • up to EUR* 30 in Serbia per person and/or EUR* 70 in Europe per person
  • up to EUR* 40 in Serbia per person and/or EUR* 80 in Europe per person
  • up to EUR* 50 in Serbia per person and/or EUR* 100 in Europe per person

Costs of safekeeping of a vehicle

are reimbursed under the agreed VIP package of roadside assistance in case the safekeeping is required until transportation to the repair-shop or until completion of repair or if the insured vehicle has been found after theft, while the insurance policy is still valid.

The Insurer reimburses the costs of a vehicle safekeeping per day (maximum 5 days) up to EUR* 10 in Serbia and/or up to EUR* 20 in Europe.

Costs of renting a replacement vehicle

without a chauffeur are reimbursed under the agreed VIP Roadside Assistance Package in case the vehicle cannot be made roadworthy within 24 hours or if the vehicle has been stolen.

The Insurer shall reimburse the costs of a daily rental of a replacement vehicle up to EUR* 80 in Serbia and/or two-day rental of a replacement vehicle up to EUR* 120 in Europe.

Instead of cover, the Insurer is obliged to provide a vehicle (without a chauffeur) of the same class or one class below the insured vehicle.

Costs of re-delivery of stolen or missing vehicle keys

are reimbursed under the agreed Bonus Plus or VIP Roadside Assistance Package in case it is not possible to continue to drive the insured vehicle because the keys have been stolen or missing.

The Insurer shall reimburse the costs up to the agreed package limit:

  • Bonus Plus up to EUR* 30 in Serbia and/or up to EUR* 50 in Europe
  • VIP up to EUR* 50 in Serbia and/or up to EUR* 80 in Europe

Costs of vehicle transport due to driver’s illness or death

are reimbursed under the agreed VIP Roadside Assistance Package when, due to the driver’s illness, injury or death, neither the driver nor any of the passengers can return the vehicle to the place of residence.

The Insurer shall reimburse the costs up to EUR* 80 in Serbia and/or up to EUR* 150 in Europe.

Costs of organized return of children

and/or a driver are reimbursed under the agreed VIP Roadside Assistance Package if, due to an injury of death, neither the driver nor the passengers can take care of the underage children in the insured vehicle in the course of travel by the insured vehicle. In that case, the Insurer is obliged to organize the safe return of the children to the place of residence.

The Insurer shall reimburse the costs of organized return of children up to EUR* 50 in Serbia and/or EUR* 150 in Europe.

Roadside assistance insurance may be agreed to cover passenger vehicles and all-terrain vehicles. All-terrain vehicle is considered a freight vehicle which maximum permitted (total) mass does not exceed 3.5 t. Subject matter of insurance may be only the vehicles for standard uses, excluding TAXI and RENT-A- CAR vehicles.

The Insured is entitled to three assistances during the insurance period i.e. five in case the Insured has, besides the roadside assistance, concluded the automobile hull coverage for the same vehicle with Dunav Insurance Company a.d.o.

With this insurance policy, our clients can travel without worry, because in the event of any unforeseen events on the road, they will be provided with a free assistance within 45 minutes from reporting the vehicle breakdown to the Call Centre on the telephone numbers: 0800 36 36 90 (free for landline telephone in Serbia) and +381 11 36 36 900, for Europe.
